The Word of God and the Homosexual

By Tony and Dory

God is Clear, it is not my words, but the Lord’s Word in the Holy Bible. Without Jesus in your life you are lost. The Lost will not inherit the kingdom of God. As Jesus puts it, one of His lost sheep! Jesus loves all, but God’s Word says it all.  God’s Word is the only truth, man makes up his own truth and ways.

God loves you and all sinners and we do this out of love for all that are lost. Again, these are not our words, but the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is the way the truth and the life. We pray all really seek his truth and want to know the truth, there is no other truth in this world other than what is written in the Holy Bible.

It is only a person who chooses not to believe his truth who will believe the lies of satin and the world. To know Gods Word you need to read His Word and find the truth their. Only by the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ can we be saved, nothing else on this earth can. If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ His truth shall set you free.

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Corinthians 6:9

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, [fn] nor sodomites,

1 Corinthians 6:10

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

James 4:4

Adulterers and[a] adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Leviticus 18:22

Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

Leviticus 20:13

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

Romans 1:26

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

Romans 1:27

Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

1 Corinthians 6:11

And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Romans 1:28

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Romans 8:7

because the mind set on the flesh is (A)hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so,

1 Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The Bible makes it clear that God is holy and man is sinful, and that sin makes a separation between the two

Isaiah 59:1,2

Without repentance from sin, wicked men cannot have fellowship with a holy God. We are dead in our trespasses and sins.

Ephesians 2:1

and until we forsake them through repentance, we cannot be made alive in Christ.

The Scriptures speak of "repentance unto life"

Acts 11:18

We turn from sin to the Savior. This is why Paul preached "repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 20:21). The first public word Jesus preached was "repent" (Matthew 4:17). John the Baptist began his ministry the same way (Matthew 3:2). Jesus told His hearers that without repentance, they would perish (Luke 13:3).

If belief is all that is necessary for salvation, then the logical conclusion is that one need never repent. Even satin and the fallen angels believed in Jesus, However, the Bible tells us that a false convert "believes" and yet is not saved (Luke 8:13); he remains a "worker of iniquity." Look at the warning of Scripture: "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth" (1 John 1:6). The Scriptures also say, "He that covers his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesses and forsakes them [repentance] shall have mercy" (Proverbs 28:13). Jesus said that there was joy in heaven over one sinner who "repents" (Luke 15:10). If there is no repentance, there is no joy because there is no salvation.

When Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost, he commanded his hearers to repent "for the remission of sins" (Acts 2:38). Without repentance, there is no remission of sins; we are still under His wrath. Peter further said, "Repent . . . and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19). We cannot be "converted" unless we repent. God Himself "commands all men everywhere [leaving no exceptions] to repent" (Acts 17:30). Peter said a similar thing at Pentecost: "Repent, and be baptized every one of you" (Acts 2:38).

The homosexual would argue that they did not make a conscious decision to be that way, so it must be natural. They are born that way—just as all of us are born with a sin nature and sinful desires (Ephesians 2:1– ). It is natural for …them, and for all of us, to be tempted to do things that God says are wrong. In the same way, pedophiles and adulterers (alcoholics, drug addicts, etc.) don’t make a conscious decision to "choose" that self-destructive lifestyle, they simply give in to their sinful desires. However, although sin is natural for unbelievers, that doesn’t mean God wants them to remain that way. God can set them free from their sinful nature (Romans 7:23–8:2), give them new desires (Ephesians 4:22–24), and help them withstand temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We Pray all read Gods Holy and eternal truth. His Truth can and will set you free from the bonds of satin and the way’s of this fallen world. Please don’t be willingly ignorant, His Will is Perfect… All Have a choice! I pray you choose Life, After all its is Gods Will.

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus Stands at your door and knocks, We pray you let him in your heart today.

  1. Bob says:

Good post Tony, I like it! You are right that man has created a barrier between himself and God because of our sin. But if you realize that the sin issue has been dealt with, as the bible clearly states in numerous places when it talks of o…ur reconciliation, and not only ours but Jesus reconciled all of creation unto himself! So therefore the barrier that stood between man and God has now been torn down. It is no longer a issue in the sight of God. But only in Christ Jesus is the forgiveness of sin. So therefore anyone that denies what Jesus provided on the cross for all man kind has not received forgiveness because they reject Christ! So the rejection of Christ is what we must repent of. That is what repentance unto life means. Acts 16:31, rom 10:9 makes my point, it is saying to repent of the rejection of Jesus Christ, it is not saying to merely believe with our minds but with our hearts also. That is putting our faith and hope in His gospel and that He is God who came to save whoever will come by His atoning sacrifice on the cross. Isaiah 59:1,2 is old covenant teaching which was only written to the Jews, it has no practical basis under the new covenant of Grace. Ephesians 2:1 does say that we were dead because of our transgressions but it does not say that we need to forsake them through repentance! It says; God made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved. (God saved us by how? Not because of our repentance of sin but of our repentance of the rejection of Christ. Read down to Ephesians 2:8-9. Acts 20:21 It does say what you said, but it does not mean what you think it means; Paul is basically saying we now have a new covenant and God says that Jew and gentile alike will have the same way to God and again it makes my point, how is this achieved? By having faith in our Lord Jesus it says, (repentance of our unbelief of Jesus). Matthew 4:17 same thing again Jesus is proclaiming himself as the savior, He is saying put your trust in me, I am God the savior, stop rejecting me! Matthew 3:2 same thing, John is preparing them for Jesus! 1 John chapter 1 is a huge passage that main stream Christianity uses to try and teach this doctrine of repentance and bondage due to guilt from sin. The context of the passage was that John was speaking to a group of people and some of those people denied that they sinned in the flesh. So John is telling them if they ever come to their senses and realize that they do sin and humble themselves and turn to Christ then God is faithful and just and will cleanse them form ALL unrighteousness. Notice he says ALL also notice that it says that if we claim to have not sinned, which is what these people were doing!! . How can we be saved by Jesus Christ if we deny that we sin? We can’t! Chapter 2 John goes on to address the believers in the group. Proverbs 28:13 again old covenant teaching, we can not build new covenant doctrine using old covenant teaching, it does not apply. Luke 15:10 is another example of what I am saying, repent of rejecting Christ! Acts 2:38 is saying only in Christ Jesus is the forgiveness of sin, so therefore you have to receive Him in order to receive your forgiveness. Acts 3:19 saying same thing. Read John 16:5-11 it says that the Holy Spirit will come and convict the world of sin. In regard to sin because men do not believe in me. This is the sin that needs to be repented of, by doing this and believing that Jesus is who He claimed then we now make a 180 degree change of the heart (repentance), we now have put our eternal destiny in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you read all of the verses that you gave in the proper context you will see what I mean, logically we are not saved by having our sins forgiven, but we are saved by His LIFE which he freely gives us when we repent and put our faith in Him. Good discussion my brother Tony!! I never wrote this much all through school, haha!! When we change the premise of how we look at the gospels then we will truly set free, God is not a God of fear but a God of love. One of God’s attributes in 1 Cor 13, the love chapter says the love keeps no record of wrongs
